Everything at this point feels perfect, BUT once I remove the bleed block and insert the pads and rotor, it's super soft and squishy. Compress the syringe one last time to pressurize the system.
pump the handle a few times and then compress/release the lever syringe a few times to get more air bubbles out, and there is no longer any air bubbles coming out. Once have got all the air out of the system, I close the bleeding edge tool. The SRAM Bleeding Edge Tool makes bleeding your SRAM hydraulic disc brakes with Bleeding Edge Tech a quick and relatively simple affair. I push/pull the lever syringe a few times to get all the air out of the system, while making sure to hold both syringes vertically so the air escapes to the handle of the syringe. Installed them, cable routed, everything is good. But if you’re doing so for the option to bleed other DOT brakes, you have to be prepared for some hiccups. Even after buying a Bleeding Edge fitting, you’re still saving almost 25 off SRAM’s Pro bleed kit. Keep adaptor engaged while turning Push on the lever syringe. Open the Bleeding Edge port by loosening 1 full turn.
